A second cardiologist is needed for this community's only cardiology practice that is experiencing a backlog in patient scheduling due to practice and population growth.  This solo cardiologist performs 55 stress tests, 90 echos and 8 caths per month.  The office is connected to a 58-bed hospital that has stress lab and TEE capabilities.  Caths are currently performed at a sister hospital 35 minutes away but future plans include onsite cardiac rehab, an interventional radiology lab and a cath lab.  The practice is fully functional on EMR.

This employed position offers a competitive salary and a full range of benefits including malpractice, 4 weeks vacation, 1 week for CME, a CME allowance, relocation plus many others.  A supportive medical staff, hospital and community make this an ideal practice setting for the non-invasive or invasive cardiologist who wants to be busy and help continue to grow the practice.  Experience in nuclear medicine is a plus.  Call coverage is minimal.
