Floyd Primary Care is seeking to add family medicine physicians to its five-location Urgent Care network serving five counties in Northwest Georgia. Floyd Urgent Care facilities are located in growing communities and offer additional services on-site that may include radiology, laboratory and/or rehabilitation services.

Affiliated with Floyd Medical Center, a 304-bed acute care hospital, Floyd Urgent Care offers a unique combination of practice autonomy and corporate support.

Founded in 1942 as Floyd Hospital, our organization has grown to include a 304-bed, non-for-profit teaching hospital, Floyd Medical Center and a comprehensive health care system serving Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama. Floyd is home to a state-designated Level II Trauma Center, a behavioral health center, primary care and urgent care network of providers. We host a realm of outpatient services, including the operation of the Floyd County Clinic and an associated pharmacy for uninsured patients who cannot otherwise afford health care.

Situated within an hour of Atlanta and Chattanooga, Rome is unique small city that has been recognized as the “Number One Small City in the Southeast,” and boasts a flourishing health care community with more than 350 practicing physicians. Our area enjoys a mild climate and offers impressive educational and cultural opportunities.
