St. Mary's Hospital Is Seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to Help Serve the Community Needs
This position is community based and hospital employed with an office provided within minutes of the hospital. The new physician will work with the hospital's Behavioral Health Department to provide comprehensive behavioral and psychiatric services tailored to meet each individual patient's needs.

The St. Mary's County Public Schools are among the highest in academic achievement at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in the State of Maryland. The three high schools in have ranked in the top 10 in the nation in achievement test scores including the SAT.
Students in the graduating class of 2007 beat state and national averages on the reading and math sections of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) with average scores of 505 in reading, 517 in math. Students tied with the national average in writing with an average score of 494 (2 points short of the state average of 496). More than 80% of SMCPS elementary students tested scored "Proficient" on the reading and math portions of the Maryland State Assessment (MSA).
