The Heart Center is the largest cardiology practice in Utah, consisting of 14 cardiologists and several mid-level practitioners. The practice is organized with the main center located on the St. Mark’s Hospital campus with additional clinics strategically located in the Salt Lake Valley, near the campuses of the Intermountain Medical Center, Jordan Valley Hospital and Pioneer Valley Hospital. Coverage is also provided at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center, Alta View and LDS Hospital. This organization allows easy access to Heart Center services from any location in the Salt Lake Valley. Physicians within the Heart Center have privileges to practice at every major hospital in the Salt Lake Valley and participate with most insurance plans offered in our area. The Heart Center is an independent group practice owned entirely by its physician shareholders. We currently offer a 1:5 call ratio and the opportunity for partnership after two years. The physicians of the Heart Center provide a broad array of cardiology subspecialty services, including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, vascular studies, PFO closure and peripheral vascular services.
