PRACTICE MODEL: Employment
Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center has an excellent opportunity for a board certified or board eligible full-time Invasive Cardiologist physician to join the community’s only cardiology practice. A second cardiologist is needed to help grow the practice and expand into surrounding counties.
The cardiology office is connected to a 58-bed hospital with a new diagnostic Cath Lab and fully functional EMR. Office equipment consists of treadmill and defibultor. The average daily office census is 25-30 patients and the average daily inpatient census is 3-5. The following types of procedures are performed:
-General Stress Tests
-Stress Echo
-Nuclear Stress (the office performs the treadmill piece, Radiology performs the nuclear piece)
-Diagnostic Heart Cath
-TEE
-TTE
-Inpatient & Outpatient Consultation
-Pacemaker/ICD Implants
-Ventilator Management

The scenic bicycle ride from Plymouth to Culver and Lake Maxinkuckee and to Ancilla College and Gilbert Lake is a popular spring, summer and fall attraction.
